Any preferences?

Re: "Astronomy Now" or "Sky at Night"?
As a previously paid up subscriber of The Sky at Night magazine, I would have to say Sky at night.
I was a member on their forum too until they closed it. Then I came here!
Regards
Graeme

Re: "Astronomy Now" or "Sky at Night"?
I had Astronomy Now for a couple of years (won the first year in the raffle at the North West Astronomy Festival, and subscribed for the second year). I've just signed up for a 6 months for £9.99 trial for S@N magazine. So we'll see whether I decide to renew that subscription.
I just wasn't really getting much from AN, as I get a lot of information from the web, so it wasn't generally telling me anything new. Some of the techniques articles were interesting, so come back in 6 months and I'll let you know how I get on with S@N

Re: "Astronomy Now" or "Sky at Night"?
The April issue of S@N arrived a few days ago. I had received an email awhile back warning that delivery would be slow due to COVID. It’s no big deal to me since I can find current astro events online.
I dropped my subscription to Astronomy since it seemed redundant and I’m starting to prefer S@N over Sky&Tel. YMMV.

Re: "Astronomy Now" or "Sky at Night"?
Astronomy Now for me. It’s a little more in depth and I think assumes more previously acquired knowledge. Sky at Night is probably a little more accessible for the general public and is a good starting place for beginners. The brand is very well known in also.

I used to purchase them both but usually lean towards Sky At Night now.
