I'm looking for an inexpensive EQ mount for my 90mm Mak, and other scopes around the same weight.

Does anyone have this model? How do you like it?

I have had one for a couple of years, and it works fine for my 80mm F/5 refractor. I don't use my 100mm Mak on it much, and the few times I used it, it was usable. Some shaking during focusing but dies down quick. I use it with the legs extended, but it would be more stable without the legs extended. I also sometimes use a stone bag to weigh it down.
Here is a thread about it on CN

You might need an extra counterweight for the C90. Look for the iEXOS-100 counterweights on the ES site, or the truss Dob counterweights.

Good thread. Looks like you discussed all the important points.
I have heavier tripods and extra counterweights already so I can experiment a bit before I decide on a next move or additional purchases.

Very helpful, thanks.

The CW shaft on the EXOS Nano is 14mm so you might need a sleeve in the 18-20mm CWs.
Some report that an extension CW shaft of other mounts fits the EXOS Nano, so that could be something to try out, to get a 20mm CW shaft on the Nano.

Glad I found this thread. I’m struggling with just about every aspect of my ES FL EXOS Nano mount. This pointed me in the right direction with at least some of it. Thanks!
