Thanks, Graeme! After looking at it this morning, I didn't like the background, so brought it down a lot in CurvesTransformation. Also did a little CurvesTransformation on the Ring and stars ...

I'm not good at scaling and aligning the different crop amounts of the various images. it'd have to be dead-on though.
smallest stars. most detailed nebula. least noise in the image.
