Post by KingClinton »

If you have any target suggestions for the September 2020 challenge we would love to hear them!

You can put forward a suggestion for the Northern hemisphere or the Southern hemisphere or both if you like!
Also remember our 9th magnitude limit.

Let us know what tickles your fancy for September 2020 and post your suggestions to this topic.
We look forward to hearing them!

For the north I suggest one of the following:

NGC 6910 - open cluster in Cygnus, mag=7.4, size=10.0'

NGC 7243 - open cluster in Lacerta, mag=6.4, size=30.0'

For the south I suggest one of the following:

Messier 2 / NGC 7089 - globular cluster in Aquarius, mag=6.6, size=16.0', class=2

Messier 30 / NGC 7099 - globular cluster in Capricornus, mag=6.9, size=12.0', class=5

Whatever is chosen in the final draw, good luck to all. :)
Alan
