Meh. Snow showers predicted for today, but supposedly clearing tonight.

Mild mostly sunny days and cool mostly cloudy nights. Better for yard work than observing.

TV weatherheads are all flipping out about ginormous spring storms hitting us tomorrow night. Mayhem! Carnage! Disaster!

I have my flashlight, hardhat, and bourbon ready.

We have a 'yellow' weather warning currently in place for high winds up to 60mph expected.

So far it is raining and only about 45mph winds at the moment.

Hopefully they won't get any stronger in our area, so I doubt we will need any of the accessories you are getting in place

It did reach 70F / 21C today

Fortunately, the winds never got above 50mph overnight.

They are expected to remain around that speed until this evening, when they will start to reduce in intensity.

Temperature is 11℃ (51.8℉).

The high winds are from Storm Mathis which is battering Cornwall on the southwest coast with winds gusting up to 93mph bringing down trees and power lines.

20C and light rain, they said it was supposed to be clear today.

We have a storm from Alaska coming in tonight. The Seattle papers rang the alarm bell about high winds and snow but the forecast for my little part of the area is 11 mph winds so I will sleep easily.

The winds have started to decrease in intensity now, so we appear to have escaped the worst of the storm.

So the atmosphere was predicted to be pretty stable last night. There was also a four hour gap forecast in the cloud cover. I set up two scopes and dug out some binos for good measure.
High clouds drifted in just as I was getting started.
85F today which is 30F above the seasonal average.

Lines of severe thunderstorms with / without tornadoes the the last couple of days. But in the upper 60s to mid 70s F. Here's hoping those larches obstructing my SE view blow down.

Yesterday was sunny and dry with no snow in sight.

Pretty calm with a gentle rain.

Clear this morning so I spent a little time in Cygnus. Looks to be clear tonight, so it might be a doubleheader.
Still sort of cold - mid-50s at best today.
