Waxing Gibbous 72% Illuminated 29/07/20

This is just one image taken via my P20 lite using a phone adapter on my 8" dob. 25mm eyepiece.
I adjusted the contrast and brightness in Photoshop.

Nice, good detail on the terminator. I've never made phones work for me, mind you my adapter is not sophisticated. I have a P20 lite as my personal phone. Must give it a try.

I got a no frills Slokey adapter for 20€, does what it's supposed to.
I also got a Canon 600D a week ago but I need to get the T-ring and whatnot but between the scope and the camera I don't think I could convice the Mrs I need to spend yet more money lol

Hi Paul. A superb lunar image with the P20 phone camera and the 8" dob. Very nice contrast and surface details along the terminator. Thanks for posting your nice lunar capture on here Paul, and congratulations on winning the TSS APOD Award today.
