Size of images in Gallery

I'm just about to post my first set of
Messier images for the
Messier challenge. I noticed there is a size limit inside of the gallery. Will the forum software resize my images if they are too big (Most of mine are 1920px wide)? If not looks like I've got 36 images that I need to shrink

I have not yet posted an image to my gallery that was too large. It doesn't mean it can't be done but I haven't been denied yet. Right now, the max size is set to 3Mb. Upload one of your images and see if loads correctly. If not then I would resize it manually to a somewhat smaller size. Note your file size before the upload to see what it likes and doesn't like.
We all (the administrators) are still learning all the ins and outs of this forum software.
