My buddies Kevin, Ryan, Dave and I distanced ourselves in separate vehicles and packed our stuff and headed out to Sandilands provincial park to take in the surprisingly cool Comet c/2020 F3 Neowise.
Its not far out of the city.. and its nice and dark! The Milky Way was very prominent before the moon poked itself up and over the eastern horizon.

This comet has a mighty lengthy tail - well worth the wait til 2:45 am to image it. Note the pine tree, lower left.
