So just uploaded my first 36 Messier objects into the gallery Fun to build a catalog of all these. Many need work but figure I can keep improving this over the years as my skills improve.

Decisions, decisions. Thinking M8, M20, and M16. Given I'm going to have limited clear skies, debating whether to shoot these in duoband first using my L-Enhance or just start with a couple of hours of RGB on each first. With the summer fog cycle and late sunset, I'm lucky to get 2 hours of imaging in so going to have to prioritize. Really fun to start photographing these targets I've only seen thru my Dob. As an aside, I will be breaking the Dob out to look at one of my favorite Messier's. M24. That star cloud in a LP eyepiece just takes my breath away and always reminds me of the line from 2001, "My God, it's full of stars....."
