Re: Focus order, does it matter?
1.Adjust eye interval
2. Use left eye to focus object
3. Adjust diopter control while using right eye
4. Bring subject into focus
It was the fourth step the threw me off. Thanks, Michael!

Always focus the left eye first with the common focuser, and then adjust the right eye until it is clear.

Re: Focus order, does it matter?
Всем привет Kos/Hello Kos. Thanks for the link to the article about diopter adjustment you recently wrote. I am curious to see what kind of telescopes and binoculars are available in Russia. I imagine there are high quality instruments available.Kos wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2019 1:09 pm Всем привет! Буквально вчера написал статью, о том, как настраивать диоптрию в бинокле (алгоритм действий).

Re: Focus order, does it matter?
Place the right eye adjustment between the extremes before focusing with the central wheel. That will give the most latitude for perfect adjustment of the right eye.
Binoculars are such a versatile instrument!
