English not an option on Google translate?

#1

Post by The Happy Parrot »

Nice work setting up the Google translation tool. However, after trying it out in a couple of languages I discovered I can no longer return to english. You can pick any language you want except english. It's not one of the options.

When you select a language other than English, a Google menu bar appears at the top of the page with extra options. One of those is a button labelled "Show Original". That is your ticket home.

Phew, that did it Kathy! Your Spanish is impeccable but I was concerned I'd be stuck in another language permanently.

Gracias.

Sometimes I think an English to GOOD English translation should be available.
Some of the spelling, punctuation and grammar seen on ANY forum is often lamentable. :face desk:

What is the least often heard sentence in the English language? That would be: Say, isn't that the banjo player's Porsche parked outside?
