Got a chance to look into what happened. It turns out the Spindle is WAY up in the trees and does not come out until like 4 AM.

So somehow it got a couple of frames through holes in the trees!

Nothing wrong with the equipment, it's operator error again :D

After having another failed sequence Friday night I checked and sure enough I had started a target slightly too early and it too was in the trees.

I went ahead and addressed a few other things. Made sure the HC and mount firmware were up to date. Checked the slew limits and set them to -15 degrees past meridian. Also replaced the USB cable for the guide camera and re-dressed the wiring harness.

Finally got a full nights sequence dusk to dawn last night, no errors, and landed in the proper park position and quit tracking!

That's more like it!

Did the factory reset fix your Dec Switch Fail and RA switch fail?

Welcome to the forum.
