Re: What Mount Is This?
The mount is a video pan head and the tripod seems to be a carbon fibre version of something similar to a Manfrotto 028b mount

yes and no. I would have to join the forum to open up the ad for more information. However, I did not like the questions they asked me to join.

They do things different in England, a website logic I can not figure out. No big deal.Refractordude wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:11 pmyes and no. Re: What Mount Is This?
Were you looking for the telescope or the mount?
The mount should do reasonably well but the combination is a bit misleading.
The C6-R weights 19lbs and is just being used visually as a terrestrial telescope here so stability is not critical. Notice no finder at all.
The mount can probably do it as my 028b has a capacity of 28lbs but set up like this even my smaller 055B Pro (14lb cap) would work for terrestrial viewing.
If you can find out exactly what the equipment is first.

You would need long arms to work that thing.......
Binocular Telescope: Oberwerk BT-100XL-SD
Mount: Manfrotto Nitrotech 608 on an Oberwerk TR3
EP pairs: Oberwerk 70 degree flat field 22, 14, 7, and 28mm RKE
