You don't have to clear all your cache.

I couldn't log in at all. Because my problem cropped up overnight Friday night, I only cleared cache for 'past 24hrs' (before the problem appeared) and that solved my problem.

STEVE333 - I have chrome and could not sign in this morning. I was able to delete the cookies specifically for TSS, here's how:

1.Open chrome
2. Click on settings
3. At the bottom click advanced
4. Under privacy and security click site settings
5. Click cookies. There is a list of all cookies on your computer
6. Scroll down the list of cookies til you get to the "T's"
7. You will see theskysearchers.com
8. Click on the garbage can to the right to delete the cookies for the site
9. Go to TSS and log-in. Worked for me and I didn't have delete the cache, passwords, or anything else.

I'm still logged in as of now.

Hi Joe. I took the conservative approach too at first. When the last day (24 hours) clear didn't work for me, I said ok, let's go clear all. And, as I mentioned, some things are working better and faster now here too, so it was probably time for the "clear all" procedure. Thanks Joe, the very best of regards, and your tip may help some others on here.

Clearing browser cache is really a good thing. It's surprising how much data gets stored up after a period of time. But it does require a bit of work after you do it.

Sorry everyone had to do this but it did fix some long running problems.

Hi Gordon. Actually this worked out well for us. Sometimes I would click on our start page for our email server and get a red table with an invalid ID message. And sometimes I also got our email address but no user password provided. And, we have been getting emails from fake linked contacts. I have suspected that something was wrong for some time now. And, we used to have problems deleting some unwanted emails. I guess lots of junk stored on here. The "clear all cache" has worked here now Gordon, and all seems to be well again.

Well I've been fiddling around for two days trying unsuccessfully to log in on windows ten laptop and my samsung tablet. After clearing the cache on them both today again. So I selected the forum page, and a serurity page popped up saying it was an unsafe site and asking me to return to safety, I clicked the advanced button on that page and selected the fourum link and I'm back in ... hmmmm .. the most suprising thing is how damn annoying that was hahah ... I was able to get back aboard on my mobile device running Chrome, but still unable to get on via desktop pc and Firefox/ Windows 10. Cache deleted, history deleted, restarted browser, poured Mountain Dew on keyboard, no joy.
Any other ideas?

I didn't have any problems with Firefox / Win10 but I did have to clear out the cache on Chrome a couple of times before it finally took. It seems some people are having more difficulty that others, so I don't have any suggestions other than to keep trying.

Sorry.

Still happening to me and it shouldn't be a cookie or cache problem should it? I've only had this computer for a month.

Update: My new Dell running the latest version of Chrome keeps logging me out, even during the same session on the forum. My 2012 Samsung tablet running an outdated version of Chrome on an older version of Android has not been affected at all.

Wierd. Hope that helps.

I have the same issue with Safari and Chrome. I looked at the cookie expiration dates and they're all one year or more into the future. Doesn't happen all of the time, I think it is if I restart my computer or quit the browser I am using as I often boot into multiple operating system versions.

I made a couple small changes late yesterday but I doubt they will help. What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one to see if that helps? If we can isolate it to that I should be able to help you get it fixed. Since it doesn't appear we are having problems with all users, we need to isolate it.

Also on the off chance. Are you using a VPN?

On my desktop I'm running the latest version of Chrome on a new Dell Win10 machine. No VPN. This is the one that's strange because everything is new out of the box. Got it in February. It was okay at first but began logging me out in the past week or so for no apparent reason.

Still not able to sign in using Silk browser on my 2018 Amazon FireHD since the first cookie change last month. Not surprising as that's a variant of Chrome. I've tried everything on that tablet except factory reset. I suspect Amazon is using some form of un-deletable super cookies. I've heard of them but never seen any details.

Older version of Chrome on my 2012 Samsung Android tablet does not seem to be affected by the cookie changes. Once I get logged in after a cookie change, it runs normally.

Three different devices, three different results. Very strange.

I could try the MS Edge browser although I try not to use any more MS tech than absolutely necessary.
