First sketch- NGC 1365
A first attempt at one of my favourite galaxies, the great barred spiral in Fornax as seen through my 18 inch F4.5 dob . The detail in the core was visible directly, although very faint, and could be seen curving to the centre. Seeing was good.

Man, that looks like a nice galaxy! Looks like it culminates at 17° from my latitude. Hmm, doable but not a good view. Might try it (sky permitting).
