How To Multi-Quote

#1

Post by bladekeeper »

Often when responding to other members on a thread, it is often great to reply to multiple members with one post. However, the PHPBB forum software doesn't have a multi-quote feature by default.

One way to do this is:

At the bottom of the thread, locate the reply box and click on "Full Editor".

On the resulting next screen, scroll down toward the bottom and find the "Topic Review" section. That should be a list of the replies to the thread so far. On the right hand side of each of these posts, you should see a "quote" button. Simply click this for each of the posts you wish to reply to and it will populate the text into the reply box up above. Simply return to that area and type in your replies in the appropriate spot.

That's all there is to it. Hope that helps out some. :)
