Consider the target audience for your image.
The boarder for the top image should work better for laymen.
The boarder for the bottom image would probably be more suited for people interested or experienced in astronomy/astrophotography.

Re: Need some feedback on my images
I like them both.
To pick just one I would maybe tend toward the first one. But really either one is a very nice presentation of the work.
You can't go wrong Russ ! :-)

I like the second format when sharing with
Not sure "one size fits all" works with this kind of info.
Just my opinion, and, it's worth what you paid for it. By the way, nice job of aligning all the texts in the bottom border.

Re: Need some feedback on my images
As far as forum posts, and posts on my page, I tend give exposure details (and a bit more) to begin with. So I wouldn't be eliminating that data completely, just making it a "reading is fundamental" thing. About the only time you wouldn't get the exposure info, is when the images run as a slide show on my live stream while I fix an issue.
@JayTee
Unfortunately the template plugin doesn't allow for top and bottom panels, or additional lines of text. If it did, I could just put exposure info in as line three and call it a day.
@STEVE333
It's actually an function of the Astronomy plugin for

Re: Need some feedback on my images
As an example: for me, the end result of my images are prints which anyone who visits my home will see. Most, can’t spell astrophysics or astrophotography or even identify the moon 3 out of 5 nights ... so when I do a print the caption is simply the object’s common name if it has one or its catalog identifier if not and. then the distance it is from earth. “The Andromeda Galaxy. 2.5M Light Years From Earth”. I also never include the caption on the image so that the prints can stand alone and if I decide to change my mind I don’t need to reprint the image.

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
The older I get, the better I was.
Celestron Nexstar+ 127 SLT, several budget plossl eyepieces, Celestron 8-24mm zoom EP and a 12.5mm illuminated double reticle EP, Svbony SV205 camera w/.5 focal reducer, Celestron SkyMaster 20x80 binos on a 40 yr old QuickSet PanHead tripod, Stellarium, Sharpcap and ManyCam on my laptop, SkyView and Nightshift on my phone and a dandy little $9 red-light flashlight.
