Well they look amazing, but I am absolutely not in the market for any more gear. I imagine they will sell out super fast
Its kinda of strange not being in the market for gear.
I haven't seen any prices yet, but it seems to me that the only advantage the type 7 has over the type 6 etc. is longer eye relief- so they would be better for eye-glass wearers. I have a T6 13mm and I feel no temptation to trade up. Sorry Al and Co. Like Caldwell 14 I am not in the market for any more gear: I am happy with what I have already. (Don't tell my wife!!!) I suspect too that the price will be right up there: especially with the proposed US 25% tariff regime: I believe at present Televue eyepieces are made either in Taiwan or Japan, not the US...
BTW, I also acquired a 13mm Ethos at one stage- but sold it in favour of the T6 13mm. Too big and heavy, and the 100 degree fov didn't do anything for me. Even with the supposed 15mm eye-relief I found I had to turn my head to see the edge of the field. I find in general that I prefer the 60-degree fov class of eyepieces, like the now-defunct TV Radians, or the Panoptics.
Telescopes: 12" f5 dob, Celestron CPC800, 150mmf5 Celestron achro, Tak TSA102, TV76, ETX125...
Binos: Steiner Wildlife XP 10x26, Swarovski 8x30 Habicht, Zeiss SFL 8x40, Vanguard Endeavour 10.5x45, Fuji FMTR-SX 10x50, Tak 22x60, Orion Resolux 15x70
Eyepieces: way too many (is that possible?), but I do like my TV 32mm plossl, 13mm Nagler T6, 27mm Panoptic and 3-6mm Nagler zoom, plus Fujiyama 18mm and 25mm orthos and Tak 7.5mm LE

Not really, I have everything I need, I’ll never need anything else.
There are quite a few Taiwanese Tele Vue eyepieces, presumably for production reasons. All of mine are Japanese. I think all of the Naglers’ were Japanese

As long as good QC is in place I would not worry to much about where they are made.

I couldn't agree more, I was just making an observation. Radians were Japanese too.
