AR 3976, 3981 & 3984...

#1

Post by StarHugger »

A few AR's from todays onslaught, Shot again with the AT70ed / Solar Wedge / IMX385 / 3X3E Extender & Sodium Filtering,

Seeing was excellent though transparencies were less than desirable considering the steadiness...

Very Best.

Thanks indeed Jeff, here are a few more in the sodium band from the session. Sol is now 26° above the horizon passing the southern meridian here at 43° N so we're starting to see noticeably improoved atmospheric stabilities, and also the Sun is now above the treeline lengthening available session time and the opportunities for stable visual observations & data capture.

The Gso 2~speed focuser upgrade kit is still out of stock so we're waiting on that to get further on with the 130 testing but Sol is now tracking the east west regional flight path so maybe some transits soon in the FD imaging results, fingers crossed🤞
