I'm Bob. I'm an ex-research astrophysicist who's getting back into the fundamentals in semi-retirement working within my local community to hopefully drive engagement on astronomy.
These days I'm very involved with smart-scope astronomy: I have an eQuinox 2 (Jeffrey), a Seestar S50 (Elusippe) and an S30 on order (Ernestine), and hopefully will deck-out my Celestron SE8 (Herbert) as a narrow-field/SSO camera this year.
(All the scopes are named after great-grandparents --- so I can get 4 more right?)
Nice intro, and nice naming concept as well. Yeah, you need another 4 scopes to complete the circle
Welcome to TSS, and looking forward to seeing your results.
All the best,
Mark
