Post by nPAE »

Welcome to 2025 everyone! The astronomy year got off to great start with the Moon / Mars occultation on the 13th. Hopefully you were in the right place at the right time to see it!

2025 is special year for nPAE as we celebrate our 10th anniversary of bringing you specialised telescope accessories.

In March we will be at the Practical Astronomy Show here in the UK demonstrating our full product range and we have the Northern Hemisphere astrophotography competition winner announced later that month.

After our Northern Hemisphere stage, we have a special review of astronomy in Rio de Janeiro for you, where you will discover the astronomy delights of the marvellous city! Following that we have a retrospective of the 2024 eclipse which we viewed from Akron Ohio.

In September we announce the winner of our Southern Hemisphere astrophotography competition and then in October our new 2025 World Champion. We will also be launching an astrophotography hall of fame to celebrate all of our World Champions!

You can start organising your 2025 astronomy year now with our free to download 2025 year planner and calendar at these links:

Towards the end of the year we will have a very special announcement. The clues to what it is are these two pictures. Can you guess what it is?
