It was hovering around 0°C here tonight with 99% humidity and the waxing gibbous Moon was spoiling the show but the sky was clear for the third time this year! So I went for it. I packed up at 23:00, didn't want to push it. I have steel wheels on the roll off roof now, don't want them freezing and sticking to the rails!

My Safety Monitor is connected to my rain sensor which has a heater in it that comes on when the dew point gets within 3° of the temperature to prevent condensation forming and giving false alarms. But it's so cold and humid that the Safety Monitor keeps triggering Not Safe (Or Not Is Safe!) Which is ok because I know what's causing it. But it's not ok because it's supposed to send a notification to my phone and park the telescope, which it isn't doing. I've posted a question on the NINA Discord, think I'll be rewriting my Target Sequence Template tomorrow!

I tried tonight, but the wind made it impossible. I am well into the second month of no observing of the night sky

Second month no observing! That's depressing Mike.

My first two weeks of January were good but now it's cloud, mist and rain till the 25th, then I'm in for a chance if the forecast doesn't change. (Yeah, right!) But by then it's an early setting, 25% waning crescent Moon, so that's good. Kind of glad I got a set of harmonicas for Christmas!
