Here's M77, captured tonight whilst waiting for my main target to rise above 25°

A bit too low for a decent image. And a bit too small for a 660mm refractor. It would have been better suited to the SCT and higher elevation away from the light pollution of the Medway Towns and less humidity but what can you do. There is a touch of the galaxy spiral arms and dust lanes though. Nice to catch NGC 1055 and NGC 1072 too.

Messier 46. I remember first time I saw this one visually and the planetary nebula was an unexpected pleasant surprise, so it's nice to see it again. My CGX was misbehaving last night so I captured another target using 30 second exposures but with this one I forgot to change the NINA Sequence Template exposures so this was captured using 180 second exposures unguided, tracked only. I'm gob smacked how well it came out.
