I can say that the Astro Tech 7mm 100 is a good eyepiece. It is just a little bit better corrected then my 9mm 100 degree ES. Not by miles but just enough to notice if you really pay attention. You wouldnt be wrong if you called it a poor mans tele vue. Can I recommend it, absolutely as long as you have the skies to take advantage of it. I can use it two or three times a year probably and i have no regrets at all in buying it.
