Thanks David, I am too. My new 3nm Oxygen filter arrives today. Anxious to try it on this target tonight and see how it handles Sadr.

The ZWO filter for Oiii is 7nm and produces terrible halos and just doesn't perform well. When the budget allows, I will replace the HA and S2 filters, but they do a decent job.

Very nice details, Steve. Like David, I'm a fan of the monochrome images but that's mostly by necessity, living in a Bortle 8-9 zone.

Received the new Antlia 3nm Oiii filter, got it installed and completely rebalanced the scope.

Even after doing a fresh polar align, as it had been months since the last one, it was way providing terrible results. It is an AVX after all. While showing good guiding numbers, the object slowly walked off to the right over a 5 hour sequence. So the guiding was chasing the imperfections in the balance and losing. Still had some noticeable eccentricity. Guiding numbers were great, within 1 - 1.5 arc seconds, but had an oblong pattern horizontally.

With 3 scopes, 2 filter wheels, EAF, dew straps and cameras, I noticed when balancing at certain angles it was way out of whack (technical term) and it would almost flip the direction of travel. After about 30 minutes, I think I got is spot on.

Last night's guiding was still great numbers but the object never moved from dead center, whereas before it might have moved 5% of the total frame to the right.

Oh, the filter works wonderfully compared to the ZWO 7nm, as to be expected. Sadr produced less halo than the HA filter 7nm did. Can't afford the other two right now.

thanks Jeff, I was able to get the Sulphur last night too. 4 clear nights in a row. However, some Canadian wildfire smoke hung over the area until 1am. Processing it now
