Another Shot of T Cor Bor

#1

Post by JayTee »

Here is a single image from 2 nights ago (0702 UTC). I needed to get a baseline image so I can compare if/when it "goes off". My image center is slightly off because I messed up on the plate solve. In other words, I didn't believe the first solve and manually moved the scope a couple dozen
pixels away from where it should have been. Silly me!

Acquired 6 July 2024 0702 UTC
ES102mm f/7 APO
ASI 294 MC Pro
FOV 1.5° x 1.0°
Exp 300 seconds
Gain 122
No post-processing at all!

Blaze Star Off Center Anno smaller.jpg

When I put this image as both a .fits or .png through Astrometry.net, the annotation font size is so small as to be unusable for the full-size option. Does anybody know how to increase the font size they use for the annotations of full-size image?

Here's the solved page.

Astrometry Annotated.jpg

Here's the full-size option selected. As you can see, the annotations are so small, that they are unreadable.

Astrometry Annotated Full Size.jpg

Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
JT

Nice shot, JT.
BTW, I'm happy to annotate the FITS file for you in PixInsight if you want to zip it and send it to me. I just need to know the date/rough time and pixel scale.

Good for you on that JT, planning for the future! I wish I had a clear night to do the same ;)

Hopefully the wait is not too long!
