My usual setup,
Lunt 80mm Double-Stacked Ha scope with the 1600mm for the Ha and my Explore Scientific ED152 CF APO with a Baader solar film and Baader Solar Continuum filter shooting with the 2600mm for white-light.
The two images were taken about 5 minutes apart.

Indeed there is a new active region rotating into view on the south-eastern limb. I wonder if it will grow to be as large as AR3654?

A good chance as the southern hemisphere seems dominant as of late, with the recent 9.5m class flare loops might be imaged off that lower right quad too,

Exciting times...

Hi Greg,
I thought I'd ask you a question about the lunt ls80mt that I have.
The dovetail that comes with it is only about 4 inches long.
I saw that lunt as a 12 inches, but the holes do not reach the same place to attach the scope.
The 4 inch dovetails is really too small to properly swing the scope on my eqr6 pro mount.
I was wondering what you use.
thx Greg.

Mine is the the 4" dovetail too but i have the double stacked model with two pressure tuners so it seems to balance well.
I know there are aftermarket companies like ADM that make longer bars with slots instead of holes that will allow you to slide the mounting position a bit. Look for something like this. https://www.admaccessories.com/product/ ... r-11-long/

Great images as always Greg, certainly a lot going on! I like the way you use the same colour scheme for both HA and WL, makes for a good comparison.

All the best,
Mark
