The AP Processing Challenge April 2024 Vote

#1

Post by Graeme1858 »

As April draws to a close here's the Vote for the TSS April 2024 Astrophotography Processing Challenge.

The person with the most votes will be awarded the new, the exciting TSS AP Processing Challenge profile flair for this month.

The vote is not only for the best image, or even the most expertly processed. Please also vote for the one that you liked because it was a bit different, or the one that you learnt a new processing method from, or the one that made you see the target in a new way. Feel free to post here for a discussion on your vote.

The vote is open to all, not just those that submitted, not just those that do processing, not just the astrophotographers.

The next TSS AP Processing Challenge will be an excellent data set from our good friend Carol @carastro.

And please submit your own astrophotography data if you would like to see what the TSS AP processing community can do with it.

Graeme

Well, @starfield was good again. @carastro showed us a good Photoshop rendition. @TerryMcK's introduction to the ForaxxPalletteUtility was very useful. But my vote went to @Jockinireland for excellent clarity of image and a verbose explanation of his method.

The vote stays open for a week.

And there's still time to have a go at processing this excellent data too if you've not had a go yet! :icon-smile:
