New Image: M97_quick capture

Post by MariusD69 »

Hello!

Just a quick capture taken last night, in the moonlight, before the clouds return. One hour exposure, 60 frames of 60 seconds, with a planetary camera (ASI585MC) and newt 203/800.
Of course I couldn't capture the faint OIII halo (as David did) with such short exposure, but it's so fun to capture a target in just an hour.
Clear skies!

Great result on these images Marius! Maybe you couldn't get real deep in an hour of acquisition, but you did get nice detail and color.
