New Image: Solar Ha timelapse

Taken April 24th, 2024 with my Lunt 80mm DoubleStack and ZWO1600mm camera. Time period covered is 2 hours and 10 minutes.
I shot 100frame SER files pausing 10 seconds between clips. I ended up with 552 individual files. I then batch processed all of the clips in AutoStakkert! 3.0. Finally, I imported the TIFFs into ImPPG and used the AutoAlign feature to stabilize the frames.
Individual frames edited in DaVinci Resolve. I was a little disappointed in the slow movement of this monster prominence along the limb but did manage to capture the beginnings of a nice flare. I was paying so much attention to the prominence that I didn't even notice the flare until I was editing this video. Had I noticed it live, I would have continued the timelapse until it dissipated.

Apparently the top half of that huge prominence cracked open and flew off into space this morning around 10 UTC.
That's what I was hoping to catch yesterday!
I'm not sure if this link will work but if you go to the Gong Ha site and look at the animation between 04/24 and 04/25 from the El Teide, Spain location you will see it.
