Explore Scientific ED152 CF APO
Natural color capture with the 2600mm camera, Baader ASTF Solar Film filter and Solar Continuum filter.
Best 90 of 1070 frames stacked with AutoStakkert! 3.0
I rarely post the monochrome versions of my images but thought I would share what it looks like after stacking, before the colorization process.
Image
And the colorized version plus labels. Very active Sun this week!
Image Image

And now for the Ha view showing the Massive fila-prom rotating into view on the south-east limb of the Sun.

I have an animation I'm currently working on plus a surprise visitor I captured! Later for those.

I'm really loving the convenience of having the RoR in the backyard. I probably would have skipped imaging today too because of the wind.

Awesome images! And congrats on APOD. Were the Ha images also with the 2600?

Cheers! :observer:
