03/24/24 Sun in CaK

#1

Post by Thefatkitty »

Hey everyone!

I couldn't believe it was another clear day out. Two in a row; haven't seen that in a bit. I have an opportunity in the morning when the Sun is between my roof and the tree. At least for now until the leaves grow in!

I took this stack at the not-so-warm hour of 11:30 AM.

There's a new spot coming around too on the upper left of the disc; I used Lusol3D to get a better view:

AR3615 has been fun. The first pic is from yesterday at 4PM, and the second is from today, so about 19.5 hours difference. That's what makes the Sun interesting; it's never the same one day to the next. Unless of course, you're looking at the last solar minimum ;)

I might go back out at 4PM again today, skies permitting, and see what's changed :D

Enjoy the day!

Good one Mark.

The cropped versions show loads of detail.
