Yes he did - that was ultra-cool. Marshall also was a ham radio enthusiast and a geology fan with a rock tumbler. And his lifelong profession was as an electrical engineer.

I have been away from the forum for a while and a while and I was just doing a search to see when was the last time my friend was on the forum cause I noticed he hadn’t been on in a while.
Then I came across this thread.
My heart is saddened to hear of his passing.
He was the nicest and kindest person to me on this forum, he gifted me a whole set of EP’s and when I was looking for a Barlow he wanted to gift me one that he had free of cost.
I said he was too generous, and paid him for that, but again his generosity and kindness to me will never be forgotten so very sad to hear about his passing !😢
Gee if I had known there was so much to see I would have started decades ago ! :Astronomer1:
