New Image: Mercury

As I was setting up for comet Pons-Brooks, to my surprise, Mercury was low just over my observatory roof, as I had my CG-4 and 135mm Rokinon on the adjacent concrete pad. Snapped a quick 10 one second exposures. Fun, but not too scientific. Data, Rokinon 135mm at f2, Asi1600mc camera, gain 1, offset 50, 10/1sec exposures, no flats, bats, cats, etc, just raw. Posted image full frame, reduced 40% full size.

Great stack Steve, and your timing was perfect! I still have yet to catch the elusive little rock; good for you :D

Thanks and all the best,
