Today has been a very exciting day for me. Besides being exactly one month away from the Total Solar Eclipse, today was the first light for the new observatory. It's still not 100% ready for prime-time as I still need to get power to the building. But I couldn't help myself and got the new (to me) mount set up and put the scope on for some solar imaging today. If you want to see what the rig looks like at this point, check out my latest post here. https://www.theskysearchers.com/viewtopic.php?t=30117

Here's the details on this image.
Explore Scientific ED152 CF APO with 3" 0.7x reducer/flattener, Baader ASTF 180 Solar Filter
ZWO 2600MC camera shooting an ROI of 2600x2600 with a Baader Solar Continuum filter
Astro Physics Mach 1 mount
Captured 250 frames at RAW16 and stacked the best 50 for this image in AutoStakkert 4.0!
Processed in PixInsight using the new Solar Toolbox. Exported as a Tiff and labeled in PhotoShop CS, Saved as Full sized JPG's.

Congratulations on the First Light Greg. And an excellent Solar image you captured too.
