Today was clear in the morning, but cloudy when I got in. So much for the solar opportunity. Still, when the cat wanted to go out at 9PM, I let her out and saw the crescent Moon with Jupiter off to the left in fairly clear skies.

The clouds and haze were already rolling in, so I grabbed my DSLR camera, used the back fence as a "tripod" and took a few shots. This was the best; enhanced in RawTherapee a bit.

Must hit the hay now, 4AM comes early! :D

H/A - PST stage 2 mod with a Baader 90mm ERF on a Celestron XLT 102 (thanks Mike!)
Ca-K - W/O 61mm, Antares 1.6 barlow, Baader 3.8 OD and Ca-K filters with a ZWO ASI174mm.
W/L - C80-HD with Baader 5.0 & 3.8 Solar film, Solar Continuum 7.5nm and UV/IR filters with a Canon EOS 550D.

Yesterday after work the clouds cleared out and left us blue skies. I set up the 4 inch frac and my 10 inch dob for a while. It was actually one of my better nights.
