But one of the things the mission accomplished was building a public realization that commercial space ventures outside of the giant NASA contractors usually prone to delays and cost overruns are possible. Funding for start-ups in this space is extraordinarily healthy at the moment with investment firms writing billions in checks to hundreds of small firms.
