Tonight's full moon can be used as a framing and lens selection event. The Moon and the Sun are approximately the same apparent size so you'll get a very good idea of how the sun and the ensuing eclipse will look in your exposures. This way you don't have to use the bright sun to make the same determinations.

The exposures for inner corona are very similar in brightness to a full moon.
