My meteorite

This is my ordinary chondrite. I found it while hiking in Columbia California between the natural Bridges caves. It's a really cool place that I frequent in the summertime. It's absolutely gorgeous. It is scary fun to swim through a cave LOL. Care of the pictures of my unclassified meteorite

So how do you tell the difference between a meteorite and a rock?

Well I actually didn't know the difference. I originally picked it up because I thought it was a rock that had been through a fire and the shape was cool. I had to submit it to a geography forum lol. I have a few interesting finds from neolithic and native American hand tools, some possible prehistoric bones, a star chrinoid stem fossil (I thought it was a dried up carrot
I will post that next with a bit more background) that developed a crystal through the center. Really love rock hunting, it's my peace of mind along with the night sky.
