Good Afternoon Everyone

#1

Post by Joseduddy »

Hello my name is Jose Duddy and I am a retired Professional Singer/Entertainer. I spent the better part of 25 years singing and performing all over New England. At the present time my wife and I live in Tarpon Springs Florida. Back in late May this year I was diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Cell carcinoma. Terminal Cancer. I still golf twice a week however I needed something more help cope with my cancer. So I went out a bought a new Celestron 4SE NextStar telescope with computerized go-to mount/Celestron Wifi dongle. Nice case of Polssl lens, and a lens wifi camera. I am a Rookie Astrophotography fan looking to gain lots of knowledge about Astrophotography.
Thanks In Advance for any help and for having me on your forum.

Welcome to the forums Jose.
The 4SE is a fun Maksutov telescope and I hope you have fun imaging with it.

Thank you for the nice comment. I will be testing your theory tonight depending on the sky. Once I get a couple more posts I'll be able to post a link to what I've done so far

Welcome aboard, Jose! You've picked a great group to join. I find that looking at the stars helps give me perspective, so to speak, about my place in the universe and I applaud your new hobby.
