Yep. I guess a "survey" like this is only useful if the questions are well thought out and can therefore lead to possible changes. These one seemed a bit more like an advertising/marketing exercise to me...

I think it needed more constructive questions like "What improvements would you like to see?", "Have you ever had issues with TV eyepieces?" etc., so that positive product improvements could be worked on. No matter how good the product (and I believe TV eyepieces are very good) there is always room for improvement. I'm not sure this survey would have given them much in that sense.

PS: We wouldn't even think of banning you Gabby! ;)

From reading TeleVue responses on CN I think they got exactly what they wanted.
They presented a show of caring about their customer wants and now with the discussion going on they are getting free advertising of their various product lines.
Now they can smugly sit on their butts for another 20 years or so.

I don't think they plan to rest on their laurels.
I suspect the purpose of the poll was to get opinions about what customers found valuable so they would have some direction in designing new products.
That is, what they need to have, what they don't need to have.
We'll see what happens.

I know what I'd like to see, but we'll see if they go there.
