I should not be allowed online when up all night!
I have needed a quality 30.7 mm diagonal for sometime now, something better than the Vixen flip mirror.
A decent enough mirror but not recommended for critical viewing, more a outreach diagonal.

I ordered a Takahashi 31.7 mm prism which should be here on Tuesday.

Does anyone know where I can find a 31.7 mm aluminized (not dielectric) mirror?
I could not find one when I searched.

I looked and looked for non-di-electric mirror diagonals and no could find. You may have to go to the used gear websites to find it.

I used to have a 96% 31.7 mm from Antares years ago but now the only one they sell in that size is a 24.5 to 31.7 mm hybrid :(

The only one that I have found is sold by Orion Telescope in USA and it looks like a Long Perng model.
Now I just need to find a retailer who sells Long Perng items...

I have needed a 31.7 mm for a few years, being up all night I was looking at various websites.
At least I stayed away from the TAMA, DW and motocycle sites!

🎉
Binoculars; Celestron Skymaster 18-40 X 80 zoom, Bushnell7-15 X 35 zoom, a couple of older single speed Bushnells that ride around in the car for weather spotting clarification
Scopes; Tiny little Mak-Cass Celestron c90 spotter scope that lets me count the moons of Jupiter and with which I can see Saturns rings in Mickey Mouse phase
Old Meade 1000mm f/11 that was missing the finder scope and ring so I rigged one onto the barrel using duct tape and a bit of cardboard and that actually works and I can count the moons of Jupiter with this one too.
Meade 6" reflector,(really elderly), found at a yard sale, the tube is a bucket of rust and corroded mirror but the mount and tripod will be recoverable so hooray for that.
Cameras; Mamiya medium format 645 with a couple of polaroid backs and a series of wide angle to 50mm lenses
Konica-Minolta 35mm,Sony alpha dslr's, up to the a900 full frame, mostly got them used because I don't have much money.

Through sending out some emails to friends I have managed to get a 31.7 mm TAL aluminized diagonal. :)

I am quite happy about this as the TAL diagonals are over built and are collimated easily.
It should be here Friday and I have a notice for delivery of the Takahashi between 13:00 - 14:30 tomorrow.

A unusual occurrence, the Takahashi prism arrived today and the skies tonight were almost perfect!

I will take some more time to compare it side to side with some of my other diagonals but so far it is looking like the Takahashi can put up an excellent image.
Looked at a few carbon stars and double.
