Astrophotography Resource Hub

#1

Post by 3SistersAstronomy »

Hello everyone! Our family (Dad, Mom, and three daughters) do astrophotography and are passionate about helping others in the hobby or are interested in it. We have an ad-free website (https://3SistersAstronomy.com) serving as a free resource to assist those intrigued by astro. It's a straightforward, not flashy, hub for hobbyists and provides valuable information for both beginners and experienced astro enthusiasts. Over time, we aim to introduce original content and tutorials, so do bookmark and revisit us. Here are some highlighted sections of our website:

Astro Sites: We’ve put together a comprehensive list of resources related to astronomy and astrophotography that we’ve discovered while exploring the hobby. These are websites, YouTube channels, forums, tutorials, and more that we’ve found to be particularly helpful in our own journey, and we wanted to share them with you. We’ve included over 650 links, 170+ YouTube Channels, and 60+ custom YouTube Playlists that we’ve built and organized.

Astro Near You: Listing of local astronomy groups/clubs (over 100 links) for every continent

Software & Apps: A wide range of software (over 130 links) that includes...

-Integrated Astro-Imaging
-Image Acquisition (Image Capture)
-Image Processing
-Planetariums, Sky Maps, & Atlases
-Astro Weather
-Satellite/ISS Trackers
-Other (miscellaneous)

We hope that our site helps, even if it's one person. Thank you!

-Joey (Dad from 3SistersAstronomy)
