I know there are plenty of members here that are also HAM radio operators.
This is a unique opportunity for you.
Good luck!

Quote from the article:

The Educational Irish Research Satellite, EIRSAT-1, is a 2-unit CubeSat from University College Dublin. Part of ESA Academy’s Fly Your Satellite! programme, it is scheduled to launch on 1 December at 18:19 UTC (19:19 CET). EIRSAT-1 will downlink in the UHF band, and radio enthusiasts from around the world are invited to help listen to the first signs of activity from the satellite in orbit!

Cheers Clinton.

I hope the launch goes well today.

Looks like it flies right overhead for you!

There are a few Ham radio folks on the forum. I know KT4HX is one of them.

The launch was a success!
I might have to dig out the SDR equipment and see if I will have another pass.

Here is a link to more on the cubesat.
