Post by OzEclipse »

I just bought a Pentax XF 6.5-19mm zoom eyepiece. These prices are in AUD.
these eyepieces that usually retail at Astro shops for AUD400(USD270).

.

Early this week I noticed were on sale for $111 (USD70) from the Australian Pentax Distributor. Bargain of the year.

.

So, I ordered one. Then I referred a friend to the deal and he told me they had changed the price up to $335(USD220).

.

300% increase in 2 days. Inflation is getting out of control.

A excellent price Joe, the zoom is usually € 349,99 (581,44 AUD) here.
At your price of 111,31 AUD that is only € 66,98!

My supermarket offered a 24 lbs. turkey priced at $52 for $0.69/lb. under the condition of buying $25 worth of extra groceries. I ended up paying $17 for the turkey. Spend $25 extra, receive a $35 discount, that is my bargain of the year. This is on-topic, right?

Yeah I saw that one too: someone was selling on IceInSpace and I checked the new prices- I got quite a surprise to see it at $111 from the distributor, but ultimately decided against it (not sure why!). Maybe that was their wholesale price, and someone forgot to change it to retail. Enjoy!

PS: Tell your friend to check this one out: https://clast.com.au/products/pentax-xf ... -qASl3OBRg
