Meteor Captured on my WyzeCam, aka the ScopeCam

I have a WyzeCam mounted on the top dovetail bar on my scope and pointed towards the area I'm imaging. It works out great because I'm able to see clouds or other issues before they reach my scope sensor. I have a 3rd monitor on my desk and keep the WyzeCam on it full screen.
Well, tonight I was just getting ready to start an imaging run and look what I caught on camera! A really bright, very slow moving meteor.

Based on how slow that meteor is moving it may be a Taurid. The peak of that shower is in just a couple of days.

Also, I have more Wyse V3 cams than I know what to do with. This looks like a great use for one of my leftovers.

Thanks. If you have an extra WyzeCam laying around, check out Patriot Astro's video on hacking it. It's especially useful if you use NINA, but even if you don't, this hack allows you to open the camera on your desktop using VLC media player.

The brightness of the sky is a bit deceiving. It was 6:30pm local time so well into dusk but the camera auto gain really brightens up the sky.

Good stuff Greg! I remember several years ago being out walking as the Sun was setting and I just happened to be looking up at the right place at the right time to see a very bright meteor against the still blue sky that was traveling similarly slow and breaking up into about three or four pieces. You simply never know for sure what you might see when looking up!
