Re: October 2023 Solar Chat.
I noticed though after the session the IrUvCut had my fingerprint on it
Still the images are surprisingly ok...
Clouds again on the break up here so maybe tomorrow the Sun will again be mine.
Also today I ordered a filter for the upcoming 390nm hack, from China though and it might not get here for some time..
By the way...
Nice Imaging Mark! And fabricating on your setup, finding the Sun Quickly is way more fun.
Best of Sun of course *

Re: October 2023 Solar Chat.
Today is Sunday the 8th and the temperature got no higher than 8C today (~50F). Was bound to happen. And the rain hasn't let up all day either. Cold and damp!
I got lucky on the 4th, 6th and 7th. By lucky I mean at the most a 15 minute window under hazy skies. Still, get it where you can sometimes:
This I took on the 5th (no solar luck that day), fall is coming fast...
My long range forecast promises 20mm of rain next Saturday, a partial solar eclipse for me. I so hope that is wrong!!!
Good luck to you all

C'est le meme chose pour moi aussi; 20%. @helicon Michael, yes it would be the same for me as Jean-Yves, maybe an extra .5%... Of course, my forecast is calling for rain!messier 111 wrote: βMon Oct 09, 2023 3:02 pmwhere I live, the sun will be 20% covered.
