Hi Everyone,
My name is Rick Morris and I'm in Oakville, Ontario Canada. I retired a month before the COVID lockdowns. Needless to say, it was a BIG change. Didn't have a lot of time to do astronomy during my working career but retiring and COVID lockdowns happening at the same time for me certainly changed that!!!! I've been an active member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) since I was a young kid. Currently a member of the very active Hamilton RASC.
Into Deep sky, Planetary and Solar, both visual and for astrophotography. Equipment includes Celestron 9.25 SCT, RASA 8", CGX mount, 80mm ED refractor, Quark, and a bunch of ZWO ASI cameras. Using MeLE Quieter computer with NINA for scope control and Pixinsight for image processing.
Learned sooooo much in the last couple of years and soooo much more to learn. Looking to this group to help me do just that. Thanks for having me!
Rick Morris

Looking forward to seeing your images!
How do you like the MeLe? I am looking at the Overclock 3c to replace my very well used (and working well) Dell laptop. I believe that the Quieter is fan-less and I was considering the Overclock model mainly because it has active cooling and my nighttime summer temperatures can be quite high.
It's great to have you here!

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the welcome to the group and apologies for the delayed response. I love the MeLe computer. Mine is the Queter2 with Windows 11 and it has performed for me without any issues at all. I really like it. Temperature here in Toronto area is not a huge problem but it never seems to get all that warm duringany sessions. The Quiete3 Overclock would be awesome. I have mine velcro'd directly to my telescope and communicate with it through RDP. Works like a charm.
Thanks again,
Rick Morris
