NGC 257 (ESO 540-22, PGC 2758, UGCA 11, Caldwell 62 and others) is an intermediate (between barred and unbarred) spiral galaxy located approximately 11 million light-years away in Cetus. It is a member of the Sculptor Group of galaxies located near the south galactic pole.

Ha – 29x600s – 290 minutes – binned 1x1
Luminance – 28x600s – 280 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 28:29:30x600s – 280:290:300 minutes each – binned 1x1

1,440 minutes total exposure – 24 hours

Imaged over thirty four nights in from July through November, 2022 at the El Sauce Observatory (Rio Hurtado, Chile) with a FLI PL 9000 on a PlaneWave CDK24 at f/6.5 3974 mm.
