star test it passes with flying colors (Actually the color is pretty good. No star halos chromatic aberration is negligible on point sources and not damaging to the image quality)
Just a small tweak to the collimation adjustments to get totally perfecty airy disks with no coma and the details blow my mind even well beyond the 2x per mm of aperture rule.
up to 200x or so using a 2x barlow plus an inch eyepiece extension and a 6mm eyepiece.
even not fully slotting the extension and eyepieces together to further extend the magnification further there is still plenty of details in the view and it gives a pleasing image when the atmosphere is calm enough.
details observed can be very significantly smaller than the airy disk limit. the atmosphere/seeing is more of a limit than the optics themselves
the moon is crisp and sharp. CA isnt really a problem on the moon either. any detectable is ignorable
Taking an image and comparing the red green and blue channels separately show blue is still very sharp and has plenty of detail. Not foggy looking or blurry. Stars only have a tiny bit of bloat in the blue channel
For terrestrial or daytime use theres not much more you can ask for. the scope is pretty good
May need some occasional maintenence or checking collimation if you frequently go from hot to very cold enviornments or bump it
stars can look pinched when imaging if the collimation screws are tiny fraction of a turn too snug. they dont need to be tight at all. Just barely snugged to keep the elements in place from moving out of collimation.
even mars can show hints of texture on its surface. polar cap. and more
Jupiter and saturn look amazing if the atmosphere is calm enough you can crank the magnification until you run out and they still have more to show.
Focusing is smooth too.
I did adjust the tightness of the 3 focuser rotator screws a little to make sure the focuser is attached straight and not overly tight or loose so it can still rotate freely when the locking screw is loosened. but without wobble or play.
Inside and outside focus look fine too. no meaningful aberrations detected. in-focus looks extremely good. even the first ring around bright airy disks is dim. and almost disappears in calm enough seeing
in dimmer point sources the first ring is not even visible at all. or extremely faint
overall couldn't be happier. lens collimation adjustments makes it far easier to adjust for perfect stars than a cheaper telescope that doesnt have adjustments for the lens.
No spacer squares either the lens uses either a thin metal or plastic o-ring washer for spacing the elements. so no spikes in images. just smooth round stars

Anyways here are some pictures I took after thoroughly flocking the telescope out as much as possible and adding dark carbon coating from a cig lighter on some of the surfaces like focuser and stuff to darken them even further.
Normal exposure. and over exposed quite a bit to show the effectiveness of it. There was still a few shiny areas I couldn't get to because its either inside the field flattener housing or not accessible.

Was a little bit hazy and cloudy but the picture still turned out super clear.

Yeah but I wasn't tracking at the time. Just recorded video with crop mode recording then screenshotted the sharpest looking frame out of a minute or so. (atmosphere seeing)
